Broadcast Engineer

Key Responsibilities

·      Assist Broadcast Engineers during equipment installation and system setup.

·      Support live production activities during rigging, production, and de-rigging.

·      Learn to configure and operate broadcast equipment under supervision.

·      Assist in cable laying, routing, dressing, and equipment connections.

·      Help maintain broadcast equipment according to company SOPs.

·      Support loading, unloading, packing, and inventory management of equipment.

·      Report equipment issues to senior engineers.

·      Follow all safety procedures during installations and live events.

·      Participate in preventive maintenance activities.

·      Maintain proper housekeeping of engineering equipment and work areas.

Desired Technical Knowledge:

·      Electronics and Electrical Fundamentals

·      Audio & Video Signal Basics

·      Computer Hardware & Networking Fundamentals

·      IP Networking Concepts (Basic)

·      Windows Operating System

·      Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

·      Basic troubleshooting approach

Prior knowledge of broadcast equipment is not mandatory. Training will be provided.
