Dispatch Supervisor

1–3 years of experience in Dispatch, Logistics, Warehouse or Manufacturing operations.

Experience in the glass/manufacturing industry will be preferred.

Good knowledge of dispatch and logistics operations.

Working knowledge of MS Excel, Word and ERP/SAP.

Good communication and coordination skills.

Strong documentation and record-maintenance ability.

Ability to handle multiple dispatches and urgent requirements.

Basic knowledge of e-way bill, invoice, delivery challan and POD process.

Good numerical and analytical skills.

Ability to work in a plant/manufacturing environment.

Knowledge of glass/fragile material handling will be an added advantage.

Plan and coordinate daily dispatch of finished goods as per customer requirements and dispatch schedules.

Prepare and verify dispatch documents, invoices, delivery challans, e-way bills, packing lists, and other required documents.

Coordinate with Production, Warehouse, Sales, Accounts, Security, Transporters and Customers for smooth dispatch operations.

Arrange and coordinate vehicles according to dispatch requirements.

Ensure proper loading of material as per invoice, packing list and customer requirements.

Verify quantity, product details, packing condition and vehicle details before dispatch.

Maintain daily dispatch records, vehicle details, loading reports and delivery status.

Coordinate with transporters and drivers regarding vehicle reporting, loading, route and delivery status.

Monitor pending dispatches and ensure timely dispatch as per committed schedules.

Ensure proper handling and safe loading of glass/finished products to avoid damage during transportation.

Coordinate with warehouse/store team for material availability before dispatch.

Maintain records of shortage, damage, rejection and transit-related issues.

Follow company procedures related to dispatch, documentation, safety and security.

Ensure proper gate-pass and material-out documentation before vehicle movement.

Track dispatched vehicles and coordinate for timely delivery confirmation/POD.

Prepare daily, weekly and monthly dispatch MIS/reports.

Support reconciliation of dispatched quantity with system/ERP records.

Resolve routine dispatch-related issues through proper coordination with concerned departments.

Maintain proper documentation and filing of dispatch records.
