Hotel Staff

We are looking for hardworking, responsible and customer-focused restaurant staff to join our team. The role may involve food preparation, kitchen duties, cleaning, bartending, table service and general restaurant operations, depending on the employee's assigned responsibilities.

All staff members are expected to work as a team to ensure smooth daily operations and provide guests with a clean, friendly and enjoyable dining experience.

• Key Responsibilities1. Food & Kitchen DutiesAssist with food preparation, cooking and plating as required.
• Follow recipes, portion sizes and food-quality standards.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the kitchen and food preparation areas.
• Properly store food items and follow FIFO practices.
• Check food quality and report spoiled, damaged or low-stock items.
• Assist with receiving and storing deliveries.
• Minimise food wastage and maintain proper portion control.
• Follow all food-safety and hygiene procedures.
• 2. Bar & Beverage DutiesPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
• Follow standard recipes and correct portion sizes.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the bar.
• Check and replenish bar stock when required.
• Handle glassware, bar equipment and beverages carefully.
• Ensure responsible and professional service to guests.
• Report low stock, breakages or wastage to the supervisor.
• 3. Restaurant ServiceWelcome and attend to guests in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take food and beverage orders accurately.
• Serve food and drinks efficiently and correctly.
• Clear and reset tables promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness of tables, chairs and guest areas.
• Assist guests with menu questions and basic requests.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and bar to ensure orders are served correctly.
• Handle guest complaints politely and inform the supervisor when necessary.
• 4. Cleaning & MaintenanceClean and maintain the restaurant, kitchen, bar, washrooms and other assigned areas.
• Sweep, mop and sanitise floors and work surfaces.
• Clean tables, chairs, glassware, utensils and equipment.
• Dispose of waste correctly and maintain proper garbage areas.
• Maintain high standards of personal hygiene and cleanliness.
• Report damaged equipment, leaks, electrical issues or other maintenance problems immediately.
• General ResponsibilitiesReport to work on time and in proper uniform.
• Follow the restaurant's rules, procedures and instructions.
• Maintain a positive and professional attitude towards guests and colleagues.
• Work efficiently during busy periods and assist other departments when required.
• Handle restaurant property, equipment, food and beverages responsibly.
• Avoid unnecessary wastage of food, drinks and supplies.
• Maintain confidentiality regarding restaurant operations and business matters.
• Follow health, safety, fire and hygiene regulations.
• Carry out any other reasonable duties assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.

• Working ConditionsFull-time restaurant work.
• Flexible shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays.
• Employees may be required to stand for extended periods and assist with physically demanding tasks.
• Staff may be required to work across different areas of the restaurant depending on operational requirements.
