Customer Relations Specialist

We are looking for a smart, friendly and responsible person to manage customer orders and assist customers at our bakery store. The candidate should be comfortable communicating with customers, understanding customised cake requirements and managing orders from enquiry to completion.

Key Responsibilities:

• Handle customised cake orders and other bakery-related orders.
• Understand customer requirements regarding cake design, flavour, size, theme, delivery date, etc.
• Communicate with customers through calls, WhatsApp and in-store interactions.
• Coordinate with the bakery/production team to ensure orders are prepared correctly and on time.
• Maintain proper records and follow up on ongoing orders.
• Attend to walk-in customers and help them select cakes, desserts and other bakery products.
• Recommend suitable products and upsell/add-on items to increase sales.
• Handle customer queries professionally and provide good customer service.
• Should have basic computer knowledge.
• Basic knowledge of Canva and simple photo editing is preferred.
• Should be organised and capable of handling multiple orders simultaneously.

Candidate Requirements: Good communication and customer-handling skills, basic computer skills, attention to detail, confidence in sales/upselling, and a willingness to learn. Previous experience in a bakery, café, retail store, customer service or order management would be preferred.
