Job Description

Perform mechanical assembly and fitting of machines, equipment, and components.

Read and understand engineering drawings, assembly drawings, and technical specifications.

Perform fitting, alignment, drilling, grinding, cutting, tapping, and other workshop activities.

Assemble mechanical parts using hand tools, power tools, and fitting tools.

Ensure proper alignment, dimensions, tolerances, and clearances during assembly.

Use measuring instruments such as Vernier caliper, micrometer, measuring tape, gauges, etc.

Identify and rectify assembly defects and fitting-related issues.

Perform installation and commissioning support for machinery/equipment.

Coordinate with production, maintenance, quality, and engineering teams.

Follow safety procedures and maintain housekeeping standards.

Ensure work is completed according to production schedules and quality requirements.

Maintain tools, equipment, and workplace in proper condition.
