Job Description
- Plan, organize, and supervise daily production activities.
- Ensure production targets are achieved on time and as per quality standards.
- Prepare production schedules based on customer orders and business requirements.
- Manage manpower, machines, materials, and production resources effectively.
- Monitor production processes and identify delays, bottlenecks, and operational issues.
- Coordinate with Purchase, Stores, Quality, Dispatch, Maintenance, and Project teams.
- Ensure proper utilization of raw materials and minimize production wastage.
- Maintain production records, daily reports, and performance data.
- Ensure compliance with company SOPs, safety rules, and workplace discipline.
- Monitor machine performance and coordinate with the maintenance team for breakdowns.
- Implement process improvements to increase productivity and reduce costs.
- Supervise and guide production supervisors, technicians, and workers.
- Conduct regular production meetings and communicate targets to the team.
- Ensure finished products meet required quality and customer specifications.
- Handle production-related problems and provide timely solutions.
- Support management in capacity planning, manpower planning, and production strategy.
