Counter Sales Executive

The Counter Sales Executive serves as the primary point of contact for walk-in customers. This role involves greeting clients, understanding their needs, explaining product features, upselling, processing billing transactions accurately, and keeping the counter area neat and well-stocked.

Key Responsibilities

• Customer Service & Sales: Greet customers warmly, identify their requirements, recommend suitable products, and close sales to meet or exceed daily/monthly targets.
• Billing & Transactions: Handle cash, card, and digital payment operations via the Point of Sale (POS) machine or cash register.
• Product Knowledge: Maintain deep, up-to-date knowledge of store items, pricing, ongoing promotions, and warranty/return policies.
• Upselling & Cross-Selling: Suggest complementary add-ons or promotional deals to boost average order value.
• Inventory & Display: Organize and restock display shelves, maintain visual merchandising standards, and report low-stock items to the store manager.
• Customer Support: Handle product inquiries, assist with exchanges or returns, and resolve basic customer complaints politely.
