Job Description
- Guest Service: Welcome guests politely and provide prompt, courteous, and professional food and beverage service.
- Table Setup: Arrange tables, chairs, cutlery, crockery, glassware, napkins, and other service items according to hotel standards.
- Food & Beverage Service: Serve food and beverages to guests as per hotel service standards and instructions from the supervisor.
- Order Coordination: Coordinate with the restaurant captain, kitchen staff, and service team to ensure timely and accurate service.
- Restaurant Cleanliness: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene in the restaurant, dining area, service stations, and buffet area.
- Buffet Service: Assist in buffet setup, replenish food items, maintain presentation, and keep the buffet area clean.
- Guest Assistance: Respond to guest requests, handle complaints politely, and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Clearing Tables: Clear used plates, cutlery, and glassware promptly and prepare tables for the next guests.
- Hygiene & Grooming: Maintain personal hygiene, proper grooming, and a clean uniform at all times.
- Equipment Handling: Handle crockery, cutlery, glassware, trays, and service equipment carefully to prevent damage and accidents.
- Safety & Food Hygiene: Follow hotel food safety, sanitation, and workplace safety procedures.
- Teamwork: Coordinate with colleagues and assist other F&B service areas whenever required.
- Mis-en-Place: Ensure all service items, condiments, and necessary supplies are available before the start of service.
- Closing Duties: Clean and organize the service area, store equipment properly, and complete closing tasks as instructed.
- Other Duties: Perform any additional duties assigned by the F&B Captain, Supervisor, or F&B Manager.
