## Job Description: QC Test Engineer – Multi-Site Quality Testing & Monitoring

### Position Overview

GBPL is hiring a QC Test Engineer to monitor construction material and workmanship quality testing across multiple allotted project sites. The role is responsible for ensuring timely, standardized testing (concrete, steel, bricks, aggregates, and other materials), proper sample identification and record-keeping, and prompt escalation of any failed or non-conforming results — rather than being tied to daily physical presence at a single site.

*Reports To:* Senior Civil Engineer / Project Head

*Location:* Multiple sites across Delhi NCR (Rohtak & Gurgaon-based operations)

*Employment Type:* Full-Time

### Key Responsibilities

*Daily Multi-Site Coordination*

- Review testing status across all allotted sites each morning — major planned work, RCC casting schedules, incoming materials, due tests, and pending cube/other results

- Build a site-wise daily testing priority list, giving priority to sites with scheduled RCC casting

- Visit sites according to priority; where physical visit isn't feasible, collect and verify test data/supporting records remotely from the site team

*Testing & Quality Checks*

- Conduct/verify material sampling, slump tests, cube casting, steel verification, brick/block testing, sand/aggregate testing, and material certificate checks

- Ensure correct concrete grade, approved mix, cube identification, and proper curing; track 7-day and 28-day test results

- Monitor testing of cement, steel, bricks/blocks, sand, 10mm/20mm aggregate, stone dust, water, waterproofing material, admixtures, and other specified materials per project specifications, DNIT, and applicable IS codes

*Records & Reporting*

- Maintain a separate site-wise Testing Register (date, material, test, sample ID, result, pass/fail, report no., remarks)

- Update all test records same-day

- Submit a consolidated daily QC Testing Report to Head Office covering tests done/pending, results, failures, retesting, material issues, and open NCRs

- Prepare a weekly consolidated multi-site QC review

### Qualifications & Requirements

- Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering or related field

- Prior experience in construction material/QC testing (concrete, steel, aggregates) preferred

- Working knowledge of relevant IS codes and standard testing procedures

- Ability to manage and prioritize testing across multiple sites independently

- Comfortable with daily reporting and maintaining test documentation

- Willingness to travel between sites across Delhi NCR
