Job Description
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date books of accounts.
- Record daily accounting transactions, including sales, purchases, receipts, payments, and journal entries.
- Prepare and maintain invoices, bills, vouchers, and other financial documents.
- Perform bank, ledger, and account reconciliations.
- Monitor accounts payable and accounts receivable.
- Assist in preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
- Maintain proper documentation and filing of accounting records.
- Assist with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory compliance requirements.
- Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial information and supporting documents.
- Track expenses and assist in monitoring budgets.
- Identify discrepancies and resolve accounting-related issues promptly.
- Assist in month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Ensure compliance with company accounting policies and applicable regulations.
- Perform other finance and accounting duties as assigned.
