Civil Site Engineer

Junior Civil Site Engineer with a solid foundation in building construction methods, structural drawings, and site measurements. You will bridge the gap between design plans and physical on-site execution, working closely with contractors, laborers, and senior engineers.

Key Responsibilities

• Site Execution & Supervision: Convert structural and architectural drawings into practical on-site activities, including marking, layout, and leveling using dumpy levels or total stations.
• Quality Assurance & Inspection: Check steel reinforcement (bar diameters, spacing, overlap lengths, and cover blocks) before concreting, and oversee concrete pouring, cube casting, and curing processes.
• Bar Bending Schedule (BBS): Assist in preparing and verifying Bar Bending Schedules for steel reinforcement and tracking material stock (cement, aggregate, sand, and steel).
• Labor & Contractor Coordination: Allot daily tasks to site laborers and subcontractors, monitoring their productivity and adherence to schedules.
• Progress Reporting: Maintain daily site logs, labor notes, formwork checks, and help draft Daily Progress Reports (DPR) for senior project leads.
• Safety Compliance: Enforce site safety rules, ensure proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), and address minor technical or operational issues immediately.
