Job Description
Role Overview:
We are looking for a hands-on CCTV Technician / Field Engineer to install, configure, and maintain surveillance systems at client sites. The role involves fieldwork, troubleshooting, and ensuring reliable system performance.
Key Responsibilities:
Install and configure CCTV cameras (IP & Analog)
Install and configure DVR/NVR systems
Install and configure RF Modems, Access Points & Clients with P2P & P2MP Configurations
Lay and manage cabling (CAT6, coaxial, power cables)
Set up remote viewing (mobile apps, port forwarding, cloud access)
Perform troubleshooting & maintenance of cameras and recording systems
Handle basic networking (IP addressing, routers, switches)
Ensure neat installation and proper documentation
Coordinate with clients during installation and service visits
Required Skills:
Experience in Camera & RF installation & alignment
Knowledge of IP cameras, DVR/NVR setup
Basic understanding of networking (LAN/WAN)
Ability to use tools for crimping, drilling, mounting
Problem-solving and fault diagnosis skills
Preferred Skills (Good to Have):
Experience with brands like Hikvision / CP Plus / Dahua
Mobile app setup & remote troubleshooting
Eligibility:
ITI / Diploma in Electronics / Electrical / ECE (preferred)
1–5 years of relevant field experience
Willingness to travel for site work
Other Requirements:
Basic communication skills (Tamil + basic English + Spoken Hindi )
