Role

As the Team Manager - Civil you will be part of the Operations and will report to the Section Head - Civil.
The purpose of your role will be to Monitor & supervise the civil & structural work (approximately 70000Sqm of structural shed buildings comprises of existing infrastructure) for timely execution of maintenance activities as per the standards. Co-ordination with all stakeholders for smooth execution of activities. Deliver or execution of the structures or infrastructures for upkeep or maintenance of the existing facilities or some new infrastructure as per business plan.

A purpose driven role for you

Your key responsibilities will include, but not limited to:
1. Plan & Execution of civil & structural maintenance jobs as per operational requirement for smooth operation of the plant
2. Execution of Civil & Structural work without any major incidents, ensure safety by ensuring implementation of safety standards at construction sites
3. Support the cross function team for implementation of improvement projects & cost saving initiatives, to enhance value creation & achieve operational excellence.
4. Monitoring & controlling the team to support the Capex projects –Civil & Structural for timely completion of the jobs.

A Day in the life

As a Team Manager - Civil & Structure responsible for all civil related activities in the plant and supporting projects team for smooth completion.

Academic Qualification & Experience

B.E./Diploma in Civil or Mechanical Engineering.
B tech in Civil or Mechanical engineering having 3+ yrs of experience in civil & structural construction & maintenance activities of industrial buildings and in manufacturing plants or Diploma in Civil or Mechanical engineering with 7+yrs of experience in execution of industrial civil & structural work.

Technical Skills/Knowledge

1. Technically sound, should have worked earlier on projects of industrial buildings or infrastructure works, must have knowledge of structural fabrication and erection works along with civil activities.
2. Experience on PEB sheds will be an added advantage.
3. Maintenance of industrial steel structures & buildings
4. Cost estimation of steel structures and civil structures
5. Managing skill to manage vendors team
6. Should have knowledge in Industrial safety standards and IMS.

Behavioural Skills

1. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
2. Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
3. Strong supervisory and leadership skills
