VMC Machine Operator

Job Description:

We are seeking skilled and experienced HMC (Horizontal Machining Center) and VMC (Vertical Machining Center) Operators specialized in boring and milling operations. The ideal candidates will be responsible for setting up, operating, and maintaining machining centers to produce high-quality components as per specified requirements.

Key Responsibilities:

• Set up and operate HMC and VMC machines for boring and milling operations.
• Interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, and job instructions.
• Perform routine machine maintenance and troubleshoot any operational issues.
• Ensure precision and quality of machined parts by using appropriate measuring instruments.
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production targets and deadlines.

Qualifications:

• ITI (Industrial Training Institute) or DME (Diploma in Mechanical Engineering).
• 2 to 5 years of hands-on experience in operating HMC and VMC machines.
• Strong understanding of machining processes, tools, and techniques.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Proficiency in using measurement tools like calipers, micrometers, and gauges.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
