HIRING – COMMIS TO CDP | SOUTH INDIAN CUISINE

Location: Adyar, Chennai

Position: Commis / DCDP / CDP

Experience: 1–8 years in South Indian cuisine

• 👨‍🍳 Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare authentic South Indian dishes as per restaurant standards.
• Handle food preparation and cooking for the assigned section.
• Ensure consistency in taste, quality, presentation, and portion size.
• Complete daily mise en place and ensure timely preparation during service.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and kitchen SOPs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the assigned section.
• Minimize food wastage and use ingredients efficiently.
• Coordinate with the Chef de Partie, Sous Chef, and Head Chef.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service hours.
• For CDP candidates, independently manage the assigned section and guide junior kitchen staff.
• ✅ RequirementsExperience in South Indian cuisine is preferred.
• Candidates with relevant experience in restaurants, hotels, QSRs, or cloud kitchens can apply.
• Good knowledge of South Indian cooking techniques and ingredients.
• Strong kitchen discipline, teamwork, and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
