Job Description
Location: Chennai Bypass Road
Project: NHAI Annual Maintenance – 32.6 km
Job Description:
Site Engineer required for day-to-day execution and supervision of highway maintenance works, including road/shoulder maintenance, vegetation and drain cleaning, road furniture, PGR/crash barriers, signage, painting, minor civil and bituminous repairs, and other routine maintenance activities.
The candidate will be responsible for supervising/ deployment of labour and machinery, site measurements, maintaining daily work records, monitoring quality and progress, coordinating with subcontractors/vendors, and ensuring timely compliance with instructions of NHAI/Engineer.
Experience: Preferably 2–6years in highway construction/maintenance works.
Qualification: Diploma/B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
Key requirement: Practical site execution skills and ability to independently manage multiple maintenance activities along the highway corridor.
