Production Supervisor

1.     Supervise and coordinate daily shop floor activities to achieve production targets.

2.     Monitor production processes and ensure effective utilization of manpower and machinery.

3.     Ensure product quality standards are maintained and minimize defects and rework.

4.     Implement and enforce safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment.

5.     Train, guide, and monitor shop floor workers and operators.

6.     Maintain daily production reports, shift logs, and performance records.

7.     Coordinate with the maintenance team to reduce machine downtime.

8.     Ensure proper material handling and availability of materials on the shop floor.

9.     Monitor inventory and minimize material wastage.

10. Handle workforce-related issues, absenteeism, and discipline on the shop floor.

11. Identify production issues and take corrective actions to improve productivity.

12. Support continuous improvement activities such as 5S, Lean Manufacturing, and Kaizen.

13. Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Stores, and other departments for smooth production operations.
