Planning Engineer

Ark Builders is looking for a Planning Engineer – Civil to plan, monitor and coordinate project schedules across our construction sites.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update project schedules, construction programmes and look-ahead plans
• Monitor actual site progress against planned targets and identify delays or deviations
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors, procurement teams and consultants to achieve scheduled milestones
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports, planned vs actual reports and progress trackers
• Track labour, material, drawing and approval requirements based on upcoming activities
• Identify critical activities, project constraints and potential delays, and propose corrective or recovery plans
• Monitor subcontractor progress and ensure activities are completed as per the project programme
• Maintain project planning records, milestone trackers and delay/constraint registers
• Assist the Project Manager in forecasting project completion and resource requirements

Requirements

• Diploma / B.E / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
• 3–5 years of experience in construction planning or project execution preferred
• Good understanding of construction sequencing, drawings and site execution
• Working knowledge of Primavera P6 / MS Project and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical, coordination and reporting skills
• Site execution experience will be an added advantage
