MARKET INTELLIGENCE REPORTER-Fresh Produce | Field Reporting | Reels & Social Media,We are looking for an energetic, confident and curious Market Intelligence Reporter to visit fresh fruit and vegetable markets, interact with traders, collect daily market intelligence and create authentic field content in coordination with our Social Media Marketing Agency (SMMA) team.

Key Responsibilities

* Visit wholesale fruit & vegetable markets regularly.

* Interview importers, commission agents, wholesalers, semi-wholesalers, retailers and other market participants.

* Collect daily prices, arrivals, demand, stock availability, quality observations and market trends.

* Understand and report why prices are moving and what traders expect next.

* Shoot short trader interviews, market walkthroughs, product videos and daily market updates.

* Present confidently on camera when required.

* Create raw content suitable for Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and other social platforms.

* Enter market information accurately into SpotMart’s standard Market Intelligence format.

* Build and maintain good relationships with traders and market participants.

Work Closely With Our SMMA Team.

The Market Intelligence Reporter will coordinate daily with our SMMA team to:

* Plan daily and weekly content.

* Identify interesting market stories and trending topics.

* Follow agreed interview and shooting formats.

* Provide quality field footage, photographs and market information.

* Coordinate scripts, captions and content requirements.

* Support the SMMA team with facts and market context.

* Participate in content calendars and campaign planning.

* Ensure published information is accurate and properly represented.

* Review market-related content before publication where necessary.

Who We’re Looking For

* Graduate in Journalism, Mass Communication, Visual Communication, Marketing, Agriculture, Agri-Business, Commerce or any suitable discipline.

* Freshers with strong field communication skills are welcome.

* Excellent spoken Tamil and good communication in English.

* Comfortable approaching and interviewing unfamiliar people.

* Confident speaking in front of a camera.

* Good smartphone photography and video-shooting skills.

* Basic understanding of Reels, Shorts and social-media content.

* Ability to follow content briefs and work closely with a creative/SMMA team.

* Curious and capable of asking intelligent follow-up questions.

* Strong attention to numbers, facts and accuracy.

* Willing to make early-morning wholesale market visits.

Selection Process

Shortlisted candidates may be given a practical assignment:

Visit a market → interact with traders → collect prices and market information → conduct a short interview → shoot a market update suitable for a Reel.
