Field Procurement Associate – Scrap Procurement

About UsShri Mahalakshmi Impex is a growing exporter specializing in automotive catalytic converters and metal recycling. We source materials from scrap markets across India and export them to international refineries.

• Job ResponsibilitiesVisit scrap markets and suppliers to procure approved materials.
• Build and maintain good relationships with scrap dealers and vendors.
• Negotiate purchase prices under company guidelines.
• Inspect materials before purchase and report findings to the office.
• Pack purchased materials safely and prepare them for dispatch.
• Coordinate courier, transport, and logistics for shipments.
• Maintain purchase records, invoices, and payment details.
• Share daily updates, photos, and reports through WhatsApp.
• Travel to different cities such as Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and other locations whenever required.
• RequirementsMinimum qualification: 10th Pass / 12th Pass / ITI / Diploma / Any Degree.
• Willing to travel frequently across India.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Honest, responsible, and trustworthy.
• Physically fit and comfortable handling packing and loading of materials.
• Basic smartphone knowledge (WhatsApp, Google Maps, camera).
• Company-paid travel, accommodation, and local transportation during official trips.
• Daily allowance while traveling.
• Performance-based incentives.

• Training will be provided—prior experience in the scrap industry is not mandatory.
