Civil Engineer

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a BE/B.Tech Civil Engineering candidate to join our field testing team. The candidate will be involved in pile load testing, field testing, civil material testing, site inspection, measurements, data collection and preparation of test reports.

• Key Responsibilities
• Conduct and assist in Pile Load Tests such as:
• Static Compression Load Test
• Initial & Routine Pile Load Tests
• Pull-Out Test
• Lateral Load Test
• Assist in setting up and dismantling field testing equipment.
• Carry out field measurements, observations and data collection.
• Record test readings accurately and maintain field test sheets.
• Assist in plate load tests, soil field tests and other civil engineering field tests.
• Coordinate with site engineers, contractors and clients during testing.
• Ensure testing is carried out as per relevant IS codes and approved procedures.
• Assist in calculations, data analysis and preparation of test reports.
• Travel to construction/project sites as required.
• Maintain testing equipment and ensure proper handling of instruments.

Required Skills

• B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Basic knowledge of soil mechanics, foundation engineering and construction practices.
• Good understanding of basic civil engineering calculations.
• Ability to read drawings and understand site requirements.
• Good communication and documentation skills.
• Willingness to work at construction sites and travel 

Preferred Candidate ProfileA practical, hardworking and responsible candidate who is interested in field testing and geotechnical/civil engineering activities. The role involves significant site work, so candidates should be comfortable working outdoors and travelling to project locations.
