Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and friendly Cashier to join our team. The Cashier will be responsible for providing excellent customer service, processing transactions efficiently, and maintaining a clean and organized checkout area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet customers in a friendly and welcoming manner.
• Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently using a cash register or point-of-sale system.
• Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions, ensuring the security of cash drawers.
• Issue receipts, refunds, or change to customers as needed.
• Answer customer inquiries regarding products, promotions, and store policies.
• Maintain an organized and tidy checkout area, ensuring it is stocked with necessary supplies (e.g., bags, receipts).
• Collaborate with team members to support store operations and enhance customer experience.
• Assist with inventory management and restocking shelves as needed.
• Follow company policies and procedures regarding cash handling and security.
• Report any discrepancies or issues to the supervisor.
