Business Development Manager (BDM)

Key Responsibilities

• Develop new domestic and international customers for food products.
• Identify distributors, wholesalers, retailers, supermarkets, hotels and export buyers.
• Generate new business leads and convert them into regular customers.
• Maintain strong relationships with existing customers and increase repeat orders.
• Handle enquiries, quotations, negotiations and purchase orders.
• Develop export markets and coordinate with overseas buyers.
• Monitor market trends, competitor products and pricing.
• Coordinate with production, quality, logistics and finance teams to ensure smooth order execution.
• Attend trade fairs, exhibitions and customer meetings to generate business.
• Prepare monthly sales and business-development reports.
• Achieve agreed sales, revenue and new-customer targets.

Preferred Experience

• 3–7 years in FMCG / food products / export sales / distribution.
• Experience with Indian and international food markets is an advantage.
• Good communication and negotiation skills.
• Willingness to travel for customer visits and business development.
• Knowledge of export documentation and international trade is preferred.
