Accountant

XLT Engineers Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an Accountant to handle day-to-day accounting and finance-related activities at our office in Perungalathur, Chennai.

Responsibilities:

• Maintain day-to-day accounting records and financial entries
• Handle sales and purchase invoices
• Manage accounts payable and receivable
• Record receipts, payments and expenses
• Bank reconciliation and ledger maintenance
• Prepare basic accounting reports
• Assist with GST, TDS and other statutory documentation
• Maintain proper bills, vouchers and supporting documents
• Coordinate with internal teams for payment and billing requirements
• Support the management in routine accounting activities
• E-Way Billing

Requirements:

• B.Com / M.Com / relevant accounting qualification
• Knowledge of Tally / Tally Prime and MS Excel
• Basic knowledge of GST and TDS
• Good understanding of bookkeeping (Zoho Books) and accounting principles
• Good attention to detail and accuracy
• Basic English communication
• Previous accounting experience preferred
