Sr. Merchandiser 

Roles and Responsibilities

Handling Garment Orders right from sampling to shipment.

Co-ordinate with the Product Development, Tech and QA, Production and Logistics teams as and when required to identify and resolve any issues and ensure smooth functioning.

Communicate with clients in a timely and effective manner to update them on progress of the product at each stage and resolve issues if any.

Contribute to best practices and focus on adding value to the client / organization.

Co-ordinate with the client and vendors regarding all issues pertaining to the product from sample to shipment to ensure delivery within agreed cost, quality and timelines.

Should have technical knowledge in patterning and market analysis.

Work on the cost as well as time and action plan in order to meet the cost target and the deliveries as required by client.

Purpose:

To achieve a) Delivery lead time b) Customer satisfaction 

Roles & Responsibilities:

Pre-Production 

1. Produce sample such as quotation sample having customers requirements in mind  
2. Reviewing the P.O submitted by Sales Team and converting the same into Job Work
3. Planning production in consultation with Directors
4. Arranging the special accessories for the new uniform according to the job work by checking inventory and materials availability 
5. Responsible for vendor identification, vendor evaluation for procurement of special accessories
6. Ensure timely receipt of special accessories and materials on time
7. Measurement study of consumers for customized stitching
8. Produce sample such as pre-production sample having customers specification and requirements in mind  
9. Convey the job work details to Production Manager along with specification of accessories, fabric
10. Measurement segregation and communication to production (size/quantity etc)

Production and Post-Production

1. Ensuring proper Coordination with in-house team (cutting, production along with quality)
2. Ensure packing is done as per specification and supervise the same
3. To ensure timely delivery , Identification of job-work contractor, evaluating the contractors capability
4. Coordination with contractor for execution of Job-work
5. Ensuring the quality of the contract work, timely completion of work and on time delivery
6. Ensure effective dispatch coordination is done for in-house production as well as contractor job work 
7. Ensure customer satisfaction and repeat order from the customers

Quality Control

1.    Make sure process quality and also F G are of good quality.(Systematic quality checking)

2.    Solving the Design related queries and giving the suggestion

 Other Responsibilities

1. Maintaining Client Files for reference
2. Preparing Specification sheets for Communicating vendors
3. Any other work as required by management from time to time

Experience: minimum 5 yrs

Salary: 30k

Languages: English / Hindi
