Location: Hope Diagnostic & Imaging, Bijnor - Najibabad Road, Bijnor (U.P.)
Job Type: Full-Time (In-Office / Onsite)
Shift: Day Shift
About the RoleWe are looking for a dedicated and detail-oriented Radiology Medical Typist / Transcriptionist to join our team at Hope Diagnostic & Imaging, Bijnor. The candidate will be responsible for preparing accurate diagnostic and radiology reports (Ultrasound, X-Ray, etc.) based on instructions and dictations provided by our Radiologist.
Key Responsibilities
Template-Based Report Editing:
- Listen to the radiologist’s instructions regarding specific abnormalities or changes required for a patient’s scan.
- Accurately note down the changes/impressions specified by the doctor.
- Edit standard MS Word report templates by keeping normal findings intact and updating only the abnormal findings/impressions as guided.
Live Ultrasound Dictation Typing:
- Assist the radiologist during live scans (when required) by directly typing the doctor's spoken dictation into MS Word in real time.
Printing & Final Delivery:
- Proofread final reports for spelling and formatting accuracy in MS Word.
- Print completed reports promptly and hand them over to the reception desk for delivery to patients.
Key Requirements & Skills
Medical Knowledge: Familiarity with radiology and medical terms (Ultrasound, X-Ray, CT, anatomical terms, drug names, etc.).
- Typing Speed & Accuracy: Minimum typing speed of 40+ WPM with high accuracy in MS Word.
- Computer Skills: Basic knowledge of MS Office (Word, Excel), page formatting, and printer handling.
- Good Listening Skills: Ability to listen attentively to live doctor dictation and make precise notes.
- Education / Experience:
- Prior experience as a typist at a diagnostic center, scan clinic, or hospital lab is preferred.
