Job Description (JD):

Position: Pan-Asian Chef

Experience: 5–15 Years

Industry: Restaurant / Café / Hotel

Employment Type: Full-Time

Job Responsibilities:

• Prepare authentic Chinese, Japanese, Southeast Asian, and Asian fusion dishes.
• Handle noodles, sushi, dim sum, ramen, stir-fry, rice dishes, sauces, and other Pan-Asian preparations.
• Develop and maintain recipes, portion sizes, presentation, and food quality standards.
• Manage kitchen operations, food preparation, inventory, and wastage control.
• Ensure proper hygiene, sanitation, and food safety practices.
• Train and supervise junior kitchen staff.
• Maintain consistency in taste, quality, and presentation.
• Assist in menu planning and introduce new Asian dishes.
• Coordinate with the restaurant management team to ensure smooth kitchen operations.

Required Skills:

• Strong knowledge of Pan-Asian cuisine.
• Expertise in Chinese, Japanese, and Southeast Asian cooking techniques.
• Good knowledge of ingredients, sauces, spices, and kitchen equipment.
• Excellent plating and presentation skills.
• Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced kitchen.
• Leadership and team-management skills.
