Electrical Wireman

• Install, route, and secure CAT5e, CAT6, CAT6A, and fiber optic cables in ceilings, walls, conduits, and cable trays.
• Terminate and test cables using appropriate tools and equipment (e.g., punch down tools, crimpers, cable testers).
• Install and label patch panels, racks, cable management systems, and network outlets.
• Read and interpret blueprints, floor plans, and network diagrams.
• Perform cable testing and certification to ensure system functionality and compliance.
• Troubleshoot and repair cabling issues as needed.
• Maintain a clean and organized job site, adhering to safety and building codes.
• Document installations and keep accurate records of cable layouts and test results.
• Cable laying every day work responsibility 

· Site Preparation:

• Review work orders, layout drawings, and blueprints.
• Inspect and prepare work areas for safe cable installation.
• Ensure all required tools, safety gear, and materials are on-site.

· Cable Routing & Laying:

• Pull and route cables through conduits, ducts, walls, floors, ceilings, and trenches.
• Lay underground or overhead cables depending on the project.
• Follow layout plans to ensure proper cable paths and spacing.

· Testing & Inspection:

• Test cable runs for continuity, performance, and faults using cable testers or multimeters.
• Inspect for physical damage or improper bends, securing, or connections.

· Documentation:

• Update cable logs, labeling, and as-built diagrams.
• Record test results and installation notes for handover or maintenance.

· Coordination & Communication:

• Work with supervisors, electricians, engineers, or IT/network teams to align with project needs.
• Report daily progress and any issues or delays to the site manager or team lead.
