Job SummaryWe are looking for a technically sound and detail-oriented Electrical Engineering Associate to support our engineering and project execution activities. The candidate will be responsible for assisting in electrical design, preparation of drawings and technical documentation, site coordination, material planning, testing, inspection, and project execution as per applicable standards and client requirements.

• Key ResponsibilitiesAssist in the preparation and review of electrical drawings, BOQ, BOM, layouts, and technical documents.
• Support design and engineering activities related to Lightning Protection Systems (LPS), Earthing Systems, electrical installations, and EPC projects.
• Prepare material requirements, technical specifications, and quantity calculations.
• Coordinate with the project/site team for smooth execution of electrical works.
• Review drawings and ensure execution is carried out as per approved designs, specifications, and project requirements.
• Assist in preparation of method statements, work procedures, inspection checklists, and testing formats.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, vendors, and Third-Party Inspection (TPI) agencies whenever required.
• Support site teams in resolving technical issues during project execution.
• Assist in inspection, testing, commissioning, and documentation of electrical and earthing systems.
• Monitor project progress and maintain records of material, manpower, testing, and site activities.
• Ensure compliance with applicable electrical standards, safety requirements, and client specifications.
• Assist in preparing daily/weekly project progress reports.
• Coordinate with procurement and stores teams regarding material requirements and deliveries.
• Maintain proper engineering records, approved drawings, test certificates, inspection reports, and other project documentation.
• Carry out site visits as required for surveys, measurements, inspections, and execution support.

• Technical documentation and project reporting

Standards & CodesKnowledge of the following will be an added advantage:

• IEC 62305 – Lightning Protection
• IS 3043 – Code of Practice for Earthing
• NBC 2016
• OISD standards
• Applicable electrical safety and industrial standards
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of electrical engineering fundamentals.
• Basic understanding of electrical drawings and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
• Good knowledge of MS Excel and MS Office.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to coordinate effectively with site teams, clients, consultants, and vendors.
• Problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Willingness to travel to project sites as required.

QualificationB.Tech/B.E./Diploma in Electrical Engineering or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution.

• ExperienceFreshers to 3 years of relevant experience may apply.
• Experience in EPC, electrical contracting, industrial projects, earthing, or lightning protection systems will be preferred.
• Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely completion of engineering deliverables.
• Accuracy of drawings, BOQ/BOM, and technical documentation.
• Effective site coordination and technical support.
