Area Sales Manager

Position Summary

We are looking for a dynamic, results-oriented Area Sales Manager for the Odisha territory. The candidate will be responsible for driving business growth, promoting our extensive electrical product range, establishing new channel networks, and maintaining robust relationships with dealers, distributors, and retailers.

Key Roles & Responsibilities

• Product Promotion: Drive sales for company products including switches, sockets, wires, and lighting systems.
• Channel Management: Develop and maintain strategic relations with dealers, distributors, and retail networks.
• Business Development: Map regional market opportunities, generate qualified leads, and expand network reach.
• Target Attainment: Consistent field execution to meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales/revenue milestones.
• Market Intelligence: Conduct ongoing market visits and competitor analysis to track shifting industry trends.
• Financial Discipline: Monitor and execute rigorous follow-ups on outstanding payments to ensure timely collections.
• Reporting Structure: Prepare accurate daily/weekly sales pipeline tracking and logs for leadership review.
• Internal Synergy: Coordinate with logistics and internal order processing teams for hassle-free order dispatch.

Eligibility Criteria

• Qualifications: Graduate degree required; PG Diploma / MBA in Sales & Marketing is highly preferred.
• Domain Preference: Candidates from an Electrical background will be given preference.
• Experience Factor: Prior successful track record in electrical product sales is a distinct advantage.
• Core Skill Sets: Strong interpersonal communication, presentation, and high-impact negotiation skills.
• Travel Flexibility: Strong willingness to travel extensively across assigned regions.
