About the Role

We are looking for a technically strong and experienced Energy Solutions Consultant to become the technical backbone of our renewable-energy business.

The person will be responsible for understanding customer energy requirements, analysing existing electrical/solar systems, designing appropriate solutions, selecting suitable equipment and providing technical guidance to the sales and execution teams.

The role primarily covers Solar PV, Hybrid Systems, Battery Energy Storage and Electrical Energy Solutions, with an opportunity to work across other renewable-energy technologies.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyse customer requirements and existing electrical/solar installations.
• Design and recommend suitable on-grid, off-grid and hybrid solar solutions.
• Design and size battery energy-storage systems based on load, backup requirements and system architecture.
• Evaluate and select appropriate solar modules, inverters, hybrid inverters, batteries and electrical protection equipment.
• Assess compatibility between different inverter, battery and system components.
• Perform PV string sizing, inverter sizing, battery sizing and basic electrical calculations.
• Develop or review system configurations, SLDs, BOMs and technical specifications.
• Provide technical support and solution guidance to the sales team.
• Participate in customer discussions for technically complex requirements.
• Provide technical guidance to the installation and commissioning team.
• Troubleshoot system-level issues involving solar, inverter, battery and electrical systems.
• Review technical datasheets, manuals and specifications of new products and technologies.
• Ensure that proposed solutions are technically sound, safe, compatible and commercially practical.
• Stay updated with developments in solar, battery storage, hybrid systems and renewable-energy technologies.
• Develop technical knowledge in related areas such as wind energy, EV charging and energy-management systems.

Core Technical Expertise RequiredThe candidate should have strong practical knowledge of:

• Solar PV system design and installation.
• On-grid, off-grid and hybrid systems.
• Solar inverters and hybrid inverters.
• Lithium-ion / LiFePO4 battery systems and BMS.
• Battery sizing and energy-storage applications.
• Single-phase and three-phase electrical systems.
• PV string configuration and MPPT principles.
• AC/DC electrical protection and system safety.
• Grid integration and zero-export systems.
• Electrical load assessment and energy calculations.
• System troubleshooting and commissioning.

Candidate Profile

Education: Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical, Electronics, Renewable Energy or a related discipline.

Experience: Preferably 3–7 years of relevant experience in solar EPC, system design, hybrid/off-grid systems, battery storage, inverter applications, electrical engineering or renewable-energy solutions.

Candidates with strong practical knowledge and hands-on experience may also be considered irrespective of their exact educational background.

Role in the Organisation: The Energy Solutions Consultant will act as the primary technical reference point for the company's sales and project teams.

The candidate will be expected to guide the organisation in determining what solution should be offered, how it should be configured and what equipment should be used for a customer's particular energy requirement.

This is primarily a technical solutions and system-design role, not a conventional sales position.
