Jones Lang LaSalle, an international commercial real estate firm, is looking for a Senior Business Intelligence & Analytics Specialist Sr. Administrator to support JLL Enterprise BI environment. The JLL Enterprise BI environment consists primarily of Power BI Global tenants, Tableau (Azure and on premises), and SSRS. The Enterprise BI Administrator should have experience managing existing on-premises as well as existing/new Microsoft Cloud hosted applications like Power BI, Azure Active Directory, SSRS, Tableau Role based and on-prem environment.

The successful candidate will demonstrate the ability to operate in a technically complex, fast-changing, and diverse environment. 

Responsibilities

 

• Perform daily administration, monitoring, and maintenance of key data platforms including Informatica, Snowflake, Collibra, and Solix.
• Create, manage, and troubleshoot job schedules, calendars, and dependencies within Control-M, ensuring the reliability of business-critical processing.
• Administer GoAnywhere MFT by setting up new file transfers, managing trading partner configurations, and troubleshooting transfer failures.
• Provide user assistance and resolve Solix-related issues to ensure compliance and operational continuity.
• Manage user access, permissions, and security configurations in accordance with governance policies for platforms like Snowflake and Collibra.
• Execute and monitor data archiving and retrieval jobs using Solix, ensuring compliance with data retention policies.
• Support data modeling activities by managing Erwin licenses, assisting with model versioning, and publishing to the repository.
• Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and shell to streamline routine administrative tasks, such as log analysis and health checks.
• Interface with software vendors to open support cases, troubleshoot technical issues, and apply recommended software patches.
• Provide clear and timely communication to direct managers and team leads regarding task progress, project statuses, and system incidents.
• Apply interpersonal skills to maintain effective working relationships with internal technical teams and external vendor support contacts.
• Track and resolve user-reported incidents, service requests, and enhancement recommendations through ticketing and support channels.
• Assist in platform testing and change management activities, including validation, documentation, and post-deployment support for configuration changes and releases.
• Schedule and coordinate maintenance windows and upgrades with project and vendor teams to minimize downtime and disruption to business operations.
• Conduct routine health checks, monitoring activities, and system validations to ensure ongoing stability and early detection of potential issues.

Experience & Education

• At least 6 years working experience of which 3 years working experience on M365.
• Having a Bachelors/Master’s degree in Computer Science/Information Systems from a reputed University
• Strong computer science fundamentals.

   

• Technical Skills & Competencies

  ·        
• Strong proficiency in scripting with Python and shell for automating administrative, operational, and monitoring tasks across enterprise platforms.·        
• Solid hands-on server administration skills, including OS-level troubleshooting, patching, monitoring, and maintenance windows for business-critical platforms.·        
• Proven experience handling incident and service tickets end-to-end — triage, troubleshooting, resolution, and clear status communication to managers and stakeholders.·        
• Familiarity with data governance platforms like Collibra, including user support, metadata ingestion, and managing data assets.·        
• Working knowledge of MFT tools like GoAnywhere for managing secure file transfers.·        
• Experience supporting data modeling environments using tools such as Erwin Data Modeler.·        
• Proficiency in scripting with Python and shell for automating administrative and operational tasks.·        
• A collaborative team player with strong analytical and problem-solving skills and a commitment to continuous learning.·        
• Good experience in enabling integration of solutions using REST/Graph API.
• Independent contributor, self-learner and with strong motivation.·         Teamwork:

o    Must have experience in working in 24x7 onshore/offshore team environment

o    Ability work independently and as part of team

• Strong written and verbal communication skills (English)·        
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills·        
• Ability to present technical information in a way that non-technical staff will understand·        
• Exceptional debugging skills and strong experience with performance tuning.
