Job Responsibilities

Perform servicing, maintenance, inspection, and repair of automobiles.

Diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues in vehicles.

Handle engine, brake, clutch, suspension, steering, and transmission-related work.

Conduct routine vehicle inspections and preventive maintenance.

Identify faults and troubleshoot vehicle problems efficiently.

Use automotive tools and diagnostic equipment properly.

Follow safety procedures and company standards while working.

Maintain service records and report major issues to the supervisor.

Ensure vehicles are serviced and delivered within the expected time.

Work as part of the workshop/service team and support other technicians when required.

Required Skills

Good knowledge of automobile mechanical systems.

Basic knowledge of automotive electrical systems.

Ability to identify and troubleshoot vehicle problems.

Knowledge of servicing and preventive maintenance.

Ability to use standard workshop tools and equipment.

Good teamwork and communication skills.

Willingness to work in a workshop/service environment.

Eligibility

ITI / Diploma in Automobile or Mechanical Engineering preferred.

1–3 years of experience in the automobile industry preferred.

Candidates with relevant workshop/service experience can also apply.

Freshers with relevant ITI/Diploma qualification may be considered for junior technician roles.

Salary & Benefits

Salary: ₹15,000 – ₹22,000 per month, based on experience and technical skills.
