Job Purpose

To manage the day-to-day operations of the store, ensuring achievement of sales targets, excellent customer service, effective inventory and stock management, and overall profitability of the store while leading and developing the store team.

Sales & Business Performance

• Achieve 100% of monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets for the store

• Monitor daily sales performance and implement action plans to bridge gaps against targets

• Analyze sales trends, best-sellers, and slow-moving inventory to optimize stock and merchandising

• Drive conversion rate , average bill value (ABV), and units per transaction (UPT)

Team Management

• Supervise, train, and motivate store staff (Store Incharge, Cashiers, Store Incentive, Store Helper)

• Prepare staff duty rosters/shift schedules ensuring adequate floor coverage

• Conduct regular briefings on product knowledge, promotions, and customer service standards

• Manage performance reviews, feedback, and disciplinary matters for store staff in coordination with HR

Customer Service

• Ensure the highest standards of customer service are maintained on the floor

• Handle escalated customer complaints and ensure resolution within 12-24 hours

• Ensure store team is well-versed in product knowledge (Fashion jewellery & Accesories)

• Maintain customer satisfaction score of 90% or above, as measured through feedback/surveys

Inventory & Stock Management

• Oversee stock receiving, storage, and replenishment on the shop floor

• Conduct regular stock audits/cycle counts and maintain inventory shrinkage below 0.5% of stock value

• Coordinate with warehouse/supply chain for timely stock replenishment and returns

• Ensure proper display and visual merchandising standards are maintained as per brand guidelines

Store Operations & Administration

• Ensure store opens and closes as per defined SOPs (security, cash handling, systems)

• Monitor daily cash reconciliation, billing accuracy, and adherence to finance/audit policies, targeting zero cash variance

• Ensure store maintenance, cleanliness, and visual presentation meet brand standards

• Ensure 100% compliance with statutory and safety requirements applicable to the store

Reporting

• Prepare and submit daily/weekly/monthly sales and operational reports to the Area/Cluster Manager

• Provide inputs on local market trends, competitor activity, and customer preferences

Required Qualifications & Experience

• Graduate/Diploma (any stream)

• 7–10 years of retail experience, with at least 2–3 years in a store management role

• Prior experience in jewellery/fashion accessories retail preferred
