Job Description
- Job Title: QMS Engineer – ISO 9001:2015 & AS9100DRoles and Responsibilities1. ISO 9001:2015 – Quality Management System (QMS)Monitor and evaluate existing Quality Management System (QMS) practices to ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Support the automation and maintenance of ISO documentation and audit processes through appropriate software applications.
- Monitor process performance using Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and identify opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain, review, and update quality documentation, procedures, work instructions, and records.
- Coordinate departmental training sessions and workshops to enhance employee awareness of ISO 9001:2015 requirements.
- Ensure timely implementation of corrective and preventive actions arising from audits and process reviews.
- 2. Internal Audit and Certification ActivitiesPlan, coordinate, and conduct internal audits according to the approved audit schedule.
- Monitor the closure and effectiveness of corrective actions identified during previous audits.
- Prepare audit reports and communicate audit status and findings to the Management Representative (MR) and relevant stakeholders.
- Coordinate Management Review Meetings and compile inputs related to QMS performance, audit results, customer satisfaction, and continual improvement.
- Coordinate with external certification bodies and third-party auditors for surveillance and recertification audits.
- Prepare the organization for certification, surveillance, and recertification audits.
- Review, amend, and update QMS documentation as required to maintain compliance with applicable standards.
- 3. AS9100D – Implementation and CertificationSupport the implementation, maintenance, and continual improvement of the AS9100D Quality Management System.
- Develop and maintain the Quality Manual, Quality System Procedures (QSPs), work instructions, process documents, control plans, and other required quality records.
- Review and finalize QMS documentation to ensure compliance with AS9100D requirements.
- Establish and monitor SMART KPIs related to product quality, customer complaints, process efficiency, and operational performance.
- Coordinate the qualification, development, and training of Quality professionals and internal auditors across relevant departments.
- Implement QMS processes and monitor their effectiveness through defined KPIs and performance reviews.
- Coordinate with accredited certification bodies and external auditors for AS9100D certification and audit activities.
- Ensure proper document control, revision management, traceability, and accessibility of quality documentation across all Directorates.
- Identify gaps in QMS implementation and coordinate corrective actions to achieve and maintain certification readiness.
- 4. Continuous Improvement and CompliancePromote continual improvement of QMS processes through data analysis, root cause analysis, and corrective action management.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure effective implementation of quality procedures and compliance requirements.
- Track audit findings, nonconformities, and corrective actions to ensure timely closure and effectiveness.
- Maintain awareness of applicable quality standards and support updates to procedures and processes as required.
- Prepare and maintain quality reports, audit records, KPI dashboards, and management review documentation.
