Purchase Manager

Job Summary :

We are looking for an experienced Purchase Manager to manage end-to-end procurement of gold, diamonds, silver, gemstones, fashion jewellery, and other materials required for our jewellery business. The role involves vendor management, cost negotiation, quality control, inventory coordination, and timely procurement to support business and showroom requirements.

Key Responsibilities :

• Manage end-to-end purchasing of gold, diamonds, silver, gemstones, and fashion jewellery.
• Identify, evaluate, and develop reliable suppliers and vendors.
• Negotiate prices, payment terms, delivery schedules, and other commercial conditions.
• Ensure product quality, purity, specifications, and compliance with company standards.
• Monitor market trends, gold and silver rates, and supplier pricing.
• Coordinate with Inventory, Finance, Merchandising, and Showroom Operations teams.
• Plan procurement based on stock levels, sales demand, and business requirements.
• Maintain purchase orders, vendor records, invoices, and procurement reports.
• Monitor supplier performance and ensure timely delivery of materials.
• Control procurement costs while maintaining quality and profitability.
• Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory requirements, and internal audit procedures.
• Develop purchasing strategies to improve efficiency and reduce procurement costs.
