Stores Cum Weigh Bridge Executive – Crusher Plant

Job Purpose

The Stores Cum Weigh Bridge Executive is responsible for managing the crusher plant stores, maintaining inventory records, handling material inward and outward entries, operating the weigh bridge, and ensuring accurate documentation of all material movements.

Stores Management

·       Maintain stock of spare parts, tools, consumables, lubricants, and other plant materials.

·       Record material inward and outward transactions accurately.

·       Issue materials against authorized requisitions.

·       Monitor stock levels and inform management about low-stock items.

·       Conduct periodic physical stock verification and reconcile inventory records.

·       Maintain proper arrangement and identification of materials in the store.

Weigh Bridge Operations

·       Operate the weigh bridge for all incoming and outgoing vehicles.

·       Generate and maintain weighment slips accurately.

·       Record vehicle number, material type, supplier/customer details, gross weight, tare weight, and net weight.

·       Ensure all dispatch and receipt entries are updated in the register or software.

·       Coordinate with transport, production, and sales teams for smooth vehicle movement.

Documentation & Reporting

·       Maintain daily stock register and weigh bridge records.

·       Prepare daily material receipt and dispatch reports.

·       Maintain purchase inward documents, delivery challans, and gate entry records.

·       Submit daily reports to the Plant Incharge/Accounts Department.

·       Ensure all records are properly filed for audit and verification.

Required Qualifications

·       Any Graduate or Diploma preferred.

·       1–3 years of experience in Stores or Weigh Bridge operations, preferably in Crusher, Quarry, RMC, or Construction industry.

·       Basic knowledge of inventory management and stock registers.

·       Knowledge of MS Excel and computer data entry.
