We are building a premium, urban, multi-specialty clinic network in Bangalore. Each centre operates with ~10–15 doctors across fixed and on-call specialties, providing seamless outpatient care, reliable diagnostics, and a patient-first experience.

Skills Required

 Strong phlebotomy technique with patient empathy.  High attention to labelling, reporting, and process discipline.  Ability to manage peak-hour throughput without compromising quality.  Professional and calm approach, including paediatric and anxious patients.  Proactive communication skills for NPS collection and critical reporting.

Experience & Qualifications

 DMLT / Certified Phlebotomy Training.  1–5 years’ experience in a diagnostics lab, clinic, or hospital setting preferred.

Role Purpose

Ensure safe, accurate, and patient-friendly sample collection while maintaining strict hygiene, labelling discipline, and timely handoff to the laboratory. Support patient experience by collecting feedback and actively coordinating with doctors and the central lab for critical results and timely reporting.

Key Responsibilities

 Perform venipuncture and sample collection per standard protocols (adults and paediatrics where applicable).  Ensure correct labelling, barcoding, and sample integrity to prevent rejections or repeats.  Maintain phlebotomy station hygiene, consumables stock, and proper sharps disposal.  Educate patients on pre-test requirements (fasting, timing) and ensure comfort to reduce anxiety.  Report critical lab parameters immediately to doctors for urgent attention.  Follow up with central processing lab to ensure timely delivery of all test reports.  Coordinate with lab technicians for routine sample processing and manage exceptions (haemolysis, insufficient samples).  Collect patient feedback (NPS) at collection or discharge points and escalate concerns to improve patient experience.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

 Sample rejection rate due to collection/labelling – near zero.  First-attempt success rate – above benchmark.  Timely handoff of samples to lab – within SLA.  Critical parameter reporting – 100% immediate communication to doctors.  Patient feedback / NPS collection – above centre benchmark.  Follow-up with central lab to ensure report TAT adherence.
