About PlazzaPlazza is a quick-commerce pharmacy delivering medicines and health products to customers across Bengaluru in minutes. We operate a growing network of dark stores designed for speed, accuracy, and compliance. As we scale our footprint post-Series A, we're building a team of pharmacists who can combine clinical rigor with the pace and hustle of quick-commerce operations.

Role OverviewWe're hiring shift-based Pharmacists to be stationed at our dark stores. This is a hands-on, floor-based role — you'll split your time between prescription verification and active participation in store operations (picking and packing orders) to help us hit tight delivery SLAs without compromising on compliance or patient safety.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrescription Verification: Review and verify customer prescriptions for authenticity, dosage accuracy, and regulatory compliance before order dispatch.
• Order Fulfillment Support: Actively assist in pick-pack operations during peak hours — this is not a back-office role; you'll be on the floor moving with the store team.
• Regulatory Compliance: Ensure all dispensing practices comply with the Drugs and Cosmetics Act, Karnataka SDA norms, and Plazza's internal SOPs. Maintain records for Schedule H/H1/X drugs as applicable.
• Inventory & Expiry Checks: Support periodic checks on stock quality, expiry tracking, and proper storage conditions (cold chain where relevant).
• Customer Query Resolution: Address on-ground or app-escalated customer questions on dosage, substitutes, and drug interactions.
• Ops Collaboration: Work closely with store ops staff and riders to flag inwarding gaps, mismatched SKUs, or SLA breaches — pharmacists here are expected to understand and contribute to store operations, not just sit at a verification counter.
• Shift Handover: Maintain clean handover notes for the next shift on pending verifications, escalations, or stock flags.
• What We're Looking ForQualification: B.Pharm / D.Pharm with a valid state Pharmacy Council registration (mandatory).
• Experience: 1–3 years of pharmacist experience; prior experience in e-commerce/quick-commerce pharmacy strongly preferred (e.g., PharmEasy, 1mg, Netmeds, Truemeds, or similar).
• Comfort working in a fast-paced, target-driven store environment — this is not a traditional retail pharmacy pace.
• Willingness to work in rotational shifts, including weekends and peak-hour surges.
• Basic familiarity with order management/inventory systems (or willingness to learn Plazza's internal tools quickly).
• Strong attention to detail balanced with speed — verification accuracy under time pressure is core to the role.
• Team player who's comfortable pitching in on non-clinical tasks (packing, stock arrangement) when the store needs it.
• Good to HaveExperience handling Schedule H1/X drug documentation.
• Exposure to dark store or warehouse-style pharmacy operations.
• Basic understanding of quick-commerce SLA metrics (inwarding %, TAT, order accuracy).
