Key Account Manager

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

Our vendor network is the backbone of every load that moves through Abnandan Enviro. This role is the single point of contact who keeps vendors informed, keeps the ledger accurate, and keeps every payment and document on time — so fulfilment never stalls because of a communication or paperwork gap.

WHAT YOU'LL OWN

1. Vendor Communication & Coordination

•   Procurement target (farming) - own and close the procurement target for the vendors assigned to you, grow volume from the existing base.

•   Day-to-day contact - own all routine communication with vendors: order confirmations, schedule changes, and queries.

•   Fulfilment handoff - inform the fulfilment team of every planned shipment (vendor, material, quantity, pickup date) well ahead of the pickup.

•   Issue flagging - surface any vendor delay, shortfall, or dispute the same day it comes up as per the SOP.

2. Payment Tracking

•   Payables tracker - maintain an up-to-date record of what is owed to each vendor and when it is due.

•   Follow-through - coordinate with Finance to ensure payments go out on schedule; flag any vendor payment complaint within the day.

•   Reconciliation - match payments made against invoices and POs; resolve mismatches before they age.

3. Ledger Maintenance

•   Vendor ledgers - keep an accurate, current ledger for every vendor, quantities supplied, rates, payments, and balances.

•   Audit-ready records - ensure ledgers are reconciled regularly and are ready for review at any time.

4. Documentation

•   Complete paper trail - collect and file weighment slips, invoices, e-way bills, LRs, and any other transaction documents per vendor, per load.

•   Storage discipline - no loose documents on personal devices, everything filed in the designated shared drive folder.

•   Compliance-ready - documentation is complete and traceable before any payment is approved.

LANGUAGE PROFICIENCY

Required: Tamil, Kannada, Hindi, and English - spoken. Vendors span multiple states; the ability to switch languages comfortably on a call is essential.
