Job Title: Heavy Vehicle DriverJob SummaryWe are seeking experienced and responsible Heavy Vehicle Drivers to transport goods, equipment, or materials safely and efficiently. The ideal candidate should possess a valid heavy vehicle driving license, a strong understanding of road safety regulations, and the ability to operate heavy vehicles in a professional manner.

• Key ResponsibilitiesOperate heavy vehicles safely and efficiently to transport goods/materials to designated locations.
• Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure roadworthiness.
• Follow assigned routes and delivery schedules.
• Ensure compliance with traffic laws, company policies, and safety regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of trips, fuel consumption, mileage, and deliveries.
• Secure cargo properly to prevent damage during transit.
• Report vehicle defects, accidents, or maintenance requirements promptly.
• Keep vehicles clean and in good operating condition.
• Coordinate with dispatchers, logistics teams, and supervisors regarding delivery schedules.
• Required QualificationsValid Heavy Vehicle Driving License (HMV/HGV).
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of heavy vehicle driving experience.
• Good knowledge of traffic laws and vehicle safety procedures.
• Ability to drive long distances and work flexible schedules.
• Basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance knowledge.
• Clean driving record preferred.
• Preferred SkillsDefensive driving skills.
• Time management and route planning.
• Ability to handle delivery documentation.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Familiarity with GPS and navigation systems.
• Physical RequirementsAbility to sit and drive for extended periods.
