Morning Shift: 6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Evening Shift: 3:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight

About ExpressAid

ExpressAid is a technology-enabled home healthcare platform launching in Whitefield, Bengaluru.

Customers use the ExpressAid app to request healthcare and nursing services at home. Our nurses are positioned across designated service areas in Whitefield so they can attend nearby patient bookings quickly.

Please note: This is NOT a hospital job, clinic job, or 24-hour live-in nursing position. This is a field-based home healthcare role.

How the Job Works

During the assigned shift, the nurse will remain available within an allocated ExpressAid service zone in Whitefield.

When a customer books a service through the ExpressAid app:

Booking received → Nurse travels to patient's home → Provides the required nursing service → Updates service/patient information → Becomes available for the next nearby booking.

Nurses may attend multiple patient homes during their shift depending on booking volume.

When there are no active bookings, nurses will remain available at an assigned/approved standby location within their service zone.

Key Responsibilities

• Visit patients at their homes within assigned Whitefield service areas.
• Accurately check and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature and SpO₂.
• Perform blood glucose checks when required and appropriately trained.
• Conduct appropriate basic nursing assessments and observations.
• Communicate patient observations and vitals accurately to the doctor when required.
• Assist patients during ExpressAid virtual doctor consultations.
• Perform approved nursing procedures within professional scope, competency and company protocols.
• Administer prescribed injections/medications only where appropriately ordered and within the nurse's professional scope and ExpressAid protocols.
• Perform wound dressing and basic wound care.
• Provide appropriate elderly-care and post-hospital nursing support.
• Assist with other approved home nursing procedures based on training and competency.
• Maintain infection-control and hygiene standards.
• Maintain accurate digital records for every completed visit.
• Carry and maintain the ExpressAid nursing kit and equipment.
• Follow patient-safety and emergency-escalation protocols.
• Maintain patient confidentiality.
• Communicate professionally and respectfully with patients and their families.
• Travel between nearby patient locations as bookings are assigned.
• Remain available within the assigned service zone throughout the scheduled shift.

Nurse + Doctor Model

For certain ExpressAid services, the nurse will be physically present with the patient while an ExpressAid registered doctor joins remotely through video consultation.

The nurse may:

Check appropriate vitals → Record observations → Assist during the video consultation → Communicate findings to the doctor → Carry out appropriate nursing care based on valid medical instructions/prescriptions and within professional scope.

Medical diagnosis, prescribing and treatment decisions remain the responsibility of the doctor.

Qualification

Candidates should have one of the following:

ANM / GNM / B.Sc Nursing

A valid/current applicable nursing registration is required for roles involving registered nursing functions.

Candidate Requirements

Candidates should:

• Be willing to work in Whitefield, Bengaluru
• Be comfortable with a field-based home healthcare role
• Be willing to travel between patient homes during working hours
• Be comfortable working rotational shifts
• Be able to use a smartphone and mobile application
• Know how to accurately measure and record basic vital signs
• Have good patient communication skills
• Maintain professional appearance and behaviour
• Follow clinical instructions and company protocols
• Be punctual and reliable
• Be comfortable working independently in the field
• Be willing to remain within their assigned service area during the shift

Home healthcare experience is preferred but not mandatory for suitable candidates.

Service Areas

Nurses may be assigned to locations around:

Whitefield ITPL Pattandur Agrahara Hope Farm Kadugodi Channasandra Hoodi Brookefield Whitefield Main Road nearby Varthur areas

Nurses will normally work within their assigned service zone rather than travelling across Bengaluru.

Salary

₹15,000 – ₹18,000 per month, depending on qualification, registration, experience and interview performance.

Any travel allowance, incentives or additional benefits will be provided according to the final employment terms/company policy.

Working Schedule

6 working days per week

1 rotational weekly off

Shift 1

6:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Shift 2

3:00 PM – 12:00 Midnight

Shift allocation will be based on the roster and operational requirements.
