Job Description

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Visit patients at their homes as per the assigned collection schedule.
  • Collect blood samples using proper venipuncture techniques and follow safety protocols.
  • Verify patient details and ensure accurate sample labelling.
  • Handle, store and transport samples according to laboratory guidelines.
  • Maintain hygiene, infection control and biomedical waste disposal protocols.
  • Coordinate with the operations team regarding appointments, delays and collection status.
  • Maintain accurate records of completed and pending collections.
  • Ensure professional behaviour, punctuality and good patient communication.
  • Report sample collection issues, patient concerns and any incidents to the supervisor.
