Experience: 5+ Years in Grocery, FMCG, Supermarket, Retail Operations

Reporting To: Cluster Manager / Regional Manager

• Key ResponsibilitiesStore OperationsManage end-to-end store operations and ensure smooth day-to-day functioning.
• Drive store sales, productivity, and profitability targets.
• Ensure excellent store standards, hygiene, housekeeping, and visual merchandising.
• Monitor opening and closing procedures, cash management, and shrinkage control.
• Sales & Customer ExperienceAchieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets.
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns effectively.
• Increase customer retention through strong in-store engagement and loyalty initiatives.
• Monitor key retail KPIs such as Sales Growth, ATV, Conversion, Footfall, and Basket Size.
• Inventory & Stock ManagementEnsure optimum stock availability across categories.
• Monitor replenishment, stock rotation, FIFO, and inventory accuracy.
• Minimize stock loss, damages, expiries, and shrinkage.
• Coordinate with warehouse and category teams for timely stock movement.
• Team ManagementLead, motivate, and develop store staff to achieve business objectives.
• Conduct regular team briefings, training sessions, and performance reviews.
• Manage manpower planning, roster management, attendance, and productivity.
• Maintain high employee engagement and discipline standards.
• Compliance & Process AdherenceEnsure adherence to SOPs, food safety norms, and company policies.
• Maintain compliance with audit requirements and statutory regulations.
• Monitor store security and safety measures.
• Required QualificationsGraduate in any discipline; MBA/Retail Management preferred.
• 5+ years of experience in grocery retail, supermarkets, FMCG retail, or modern trade.
• Proven experience in managing store operations and large teams.
• Strong understanding of inventory management, sales planning, and customer service.
• Hands-on experience with retail ERP/POS systems.
