Continental Cook

We are looking for an experienced and passionate Continental Chef to join the Fresh Pressery Café kitchen team. The ideal candidate should have hands-on experience preparing Continental and café-style dishes while maintaining high standards of taste, presentation, hygiene, and food quality.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and cook Continental and café-style dishes according to recipes and quality standards.

- Handle daily kitchen preparation, mise en place, cooking, and plating.

- Maintain consistency in taste, portion size, and presentation.

- Prepare dishes such as pasta, sandwiches, burgers, salads, breakfast items, and other Continental preparations.

- Maintain cleanliness and hygiene across the kitchen and workstations.

- Follow food safety, storage, and temperature-control standards.

- Monitor ingredient usage and minimize food wastage.

- Check the quality and freshness of ingredients before preparation.

- Coordinate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth daily operations.

- Assist with menu preparation and new dish development when required.

- Maintain proper stock and inform the supervisor about ingredient requirements.

Requirements

- 3+ years of experience as a Continental Chef/Cook.

- Previous experience in cafés, restaurants, hotels, or commercial kitchens preferred.

- Good knowledge of Continental cuisine and café food preparation.

- Ability to work independently as well as with a kitchen team.

- Basic English communication skills.

- Good understanding of kitchen hygiene and food safety practices.

- Passion for food quality, presentation, and consistency.

Salary & Benefits

₹22,000 – ₹27,000 per month

(Fixed + incentives)
