Commis Chef

We are looking for a skilled and passionate Commi I / Commi II to join our kitchen team. The candidate should have hands-on experience in Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisines and be capable of supporting day-to-day food preparation, maintaining quality standards, and ensuring kitchen hygiene.

• Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and cook dishes as per standard recipes for Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisines.
• Assist senior chefs in mise en place, food preparation, cooking, and plating.
• Ensure consistency in taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the workstation in accordance with food safety standards.
• Monitor food stock levels and report shortages to the chef.
• Follow kitchen SOPs, health & safety guidelines, and company policies.
• Minimize wastage and ensure proper storage of ingredients.
• Support team members during peak operational hours.
• Requirements1 to 5 years of experience as a Commi I or Commi II in hotels, restaurants, cafés, or QSRs.
• Good knowledge of Indian, Chinese, and Continental cuisine preparation.
• Understanding of food safety and hygiene practices.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and rotational shifts.
• Team player with a positive attitude and willingness to learn.
• Preferred QualificationsDiploma/Certificate in Hotel Management, Culinary Arts, or a related field.
• Experience in high-volume kitchen operations will be an added advantage.
