CNC / VMC / DRO Machine Operator

Job DescriptionWe are looking for a skilled and responsible CNC / VMC / DRO Machine Operator to join our manufacturing team. The candidate will be responsible for operating machines, setting jobs, reading engineering drawings, and ensuring accurate and quality production.

• Key ResponsibilitiesOperate CNC, VMC and DRO machines efficiently and safely.
• Read and understand 2D engineering drawings and dimensions.
• Perform machine setting, tool setting and job loading/unloading.
• Check component dimensions using Vernier, Micrometer, Height Gauge and other measuring instruments.
• Understand basic CNC/VMC programs and make minor offsets/corrections.
• Maintain required dimensional accuracy and surface finish.
• Follow production schedules and achieve daily targets.
• Identify machining issues and inform the supervisor/programmer when required.
• Maintain machine cleanliness and follow safety procedures.
• Perform in-process inspection and maintain quality standards.
• Required SkillsGood knowledge of CNC/VMC machining operations.
• Experience with DRO milling machines will be an advantage.
• Ability to read and understand engineering drawings.
• Knowledge of cutting tools, speeds & feeds and basic machining practices.
• Good knowledge of measuring instruments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Quality-conscious and responsible attitude.

Preferred ExperienceExperience in automotive, press tools, jigs & fixtures, special-purpose machines, precision components or general engineering manufacturing will be preferred.

QualificationITI / Diploma – Mechanical / Production / Manufacturing Engineering or equivalent.
