Job Description

  • Key ResponsibilitiesAccept and process luggage and parcel bookings accurately.
  • Verify customer details, shipment information, and documentation.
  • Generate booking receipts, invoices, and transport documents.
  • Coordinate with branch offices, drivers, conductors, and loading teams for timely movement of consignments.
  • Track luggage shipments and provide regular status updates to customers.
  • Ensure proper labeling, weighing, and handling of luggage and parcels.
  • Resolve customer queries, complaints, and delivery issues promptly.
  • Maintain daily booking, dispatch, and delivery records.
  • Coordinate with the accounts team for cash collections and daily reconciliation.
  • Monitor pending deliveries and follow up with destination branches.
  • Ensure compliance with company SOPs and safety guidelines.
  • Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly operational reports.
  • Coordinate with cargo agents and business partners to maximize booking volumes.
  • Escalate operational issues such as delays, damages, shortages, or missing consignments to the reporting manager.
  • Support branch initiatives to improve customer satisfaction and increase luggage revenue.
