Block In-Charge

Job Summary:

Responsible for managing day-to-day construction activities of an assigned block/tower in a high-rise project, ensuring progress, quality, safety, and adherence to project schedules.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise RCC structural works using Mivan aluminium formwork.
• Monitor reinforcement, formwork erection, pre-pour inspections, concreting, and de-shuttering.
• Achieve planned floor-cycle time and block-wise construction targets.
• Coordinate with site engineers, subcontractors, QA/QC, safety, and MEP teams.
• Ensure execution as per approved drawings, specifications, and method statements.
• Monitor manpower, materials, equipment, and daily work progress.
• Identify site issues, resolve technical queries, and report delays to the Project Manager.
• Maintain DPRs, inspection records, and quality checklists.
• Ensure safety compliance, housekeeping, and proper work-at-height practices.
• Coordinate finishing works, snag rectification, and block handover.

Qualifications & Experience:

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering.
• Relevant experience in high-rise building construction with Mivan formwork.
• Knowledge of RCC works, reinforcement, concrete technology, and construction planning.
• Good site supervision, team coordination, and problem-solving skills.
