Accountant

We are looking for an E-Commerce Accountant to manage daily accounting, payment reconciliation, sales records, purchase entries, expenses, GST support, and financial reporting for our online business. The ideal candidate should have good knowledge of accounting software, Excel, online sales transactions, and basic e-commerce operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain day-to-day accounts, sales entries, purchase entries, and expense records.

• Reconcile online payments from website orders, UPI, bank transfers, payment gateways, and marketplace platforms if applicable.

• Track order payments, refunds, cancellations, shipping charges, courier expenses, and COD or prepaid settlements if applicable.

• Manage vendor bills, purchase invoices, payment follow-ups, and ledger reconciliation.

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly sales and expense reports.

• Support GST filing by maintaining proper invoices, purchase records, sales data, and tax details.

• Check stock-related purchase entries and coordinate with inventory or operations team when required.

• Handle bank reconciliation and payment gateway reconciliation.

• Maintain accurate records of customer refunds, return payments, credit notes, and damaged product adjustments.

• Coordinate with the sales, warehouse, and customer support teams for billing, payment, and order-related accounting issues.

• Assist in preparing profit and loss reports, cash flow reports, and other basic financial summaries.

• Ensure all accounting records are properly updated and organized.
